Howdy, I’m Lisa!
Lead Designer & Creative Enthusiast
My love for weddings started at a young age playing My Fantasy Wedding back when PC games were the most high tech invention. I loved watching Say Yes to the Dress and Four Weddings on TLC and dreaming up what my wedding would one day look like.
I went to school in California for graphic design, event planning, and packaging, but my passion for stationery and signage was born after designing my very own wedding.
I found myself sad as the planning process came to an end and knew my love for signage and paper goods couldn’t stop there.
I soft launched my business in 2024 as the go-to designer for my fellow California brides, and used that experience to officially launch Print & Proper here in Austin, TX.
When I’m not designing, you can find me renovating a newly purchased home with my husband (and business partner!), hosting girly craft nights where I get to test out new creative outlets, or catching up on the latest reality TV show!

Print & Proper wouldn’t be what it is without my husband, Ryan. You may recognize him as my day-of assistant setting up large format installations, but he’s so much more than his muscles! Although Ryan didn’t grow up dreaming about his wedding like I did, his background in construction management and custom home building came in quite handy when I decided to launch this business. Outside of our creative endeavors, you can find him making my home reno dreams a reality, dreaming up the next destination to travel to, or finding the nearest surf break.
Each project we work on is crafted individually for the couple and lets their personalities and styles shine. We create a unique experience for both them and their guests from one-of-a-kind signs and stationery. See more of our work on our portfolio.
